The church began to argue and fight about the matter. So they decided to have a meeting. As the people made their arguments and tensions increased, the meeting was getting completely out of hand.
The young woman became very upset about all the things being brought up about her past.
As she began to cry the pastor's son stood to speak. He could not bear the pain it was causing his wife to be. He began to speak and his statement was this: "My fiance's past is not what is on trial here. What you are questioning is the ability of the blood of Jesus to wash away sin. Today you have put the blood of Jesus on trial."

GOD changed the status of David from a Shepherd boy to king of Israel, Esther from a slave girl to a Queen and Joseph from a prisoner to the first (and only foreigner to become) Prime Minister of Egypt ..
That same God will give you a new designation very soon in Jesus name.
In chemistry he turned water to wine, in biology he was born without the normal conception, in physics he disapproved the law of gravity when he ascended into heaven, in economics he disapproved the law of diminishing return by feeding 5000 men with two fishes & 5 loaves of bread, in history he is the beginning & the end, in Government he said that he shall be called wonderful counselor, prince of peace, in religion he said no one comes to the father except through him so who is he.(JESUS).

You can find articles at the Internet about practically anything. Example this article about lawyers and Christians.
This is a book review:
Can a Good Christian Be a Good Lawyer?: Homilies, Witnesses & Reflections. Thomas E. Baker and Timothy W. Floyd, eds., University of Notre Dame Press, 1998. 206 pp. $20.00.
This volume, perhaps better named Can a Good Lawyer Be a Good Christian, is written by lawyers, about lawyers, and largely for lawyers. It consists of essays collected by Professors Baker and Lloyd of the Texas Tech Law School. The legally-trained essayists are denominational diverse and equally diverse in legal experience. They are litigators, judges, transactional attorneys, legal aid lawyers, and lobbyists; some also hold divinity degrees.
Some essays are general discourses on the title question. Most, however, describe anecdotal the manner in which the writers strive to be good Christians as well as good lawyers. This book is not exactly a page-turner, and the essays, many annotated like appellate briefs, are best read selectively, a few at a time. While the volume is slanted toward professionals, non-lawyers may enjoy learning that at least some attorneys, caricatured in tiresome lawyer jokes, work hard to live their faith while practicing law.

"You are a very busy person with a lot to do. You don't have time to do all you need to do as it is." "You already believe in Jesus Christ. You already heard the Gospel." "Why should you spend time reading the Bible?"
First of all because reading the Bible, makes you get to know God better as His Child.
The Bible must be read and studied because it is God’s word to you. 2 Timothy 3:16 states that the Bible is "God-breathed." Do you want to know your purpose in life? From where did you come? Is there life after death for you? After death, what? What is heaven and what are the entrance requirements’? Why does God permit the evil in the world? How can you make "good things" happening for you, and your fellow man?
Every newborn baby need food to grow.
To grow in your spiritual life, and to grow as a Christian, you need spiritual food.
A Charleston Southern University School of Business study concludes Christians worldwide are simply becoming too busy for God. The Obstacles to Growth Survey found that globally more than 40% of Christians say they “often” or “always” rush from task to task. About 60% say it's “often” or “always” true that the busyness of life gets in the way of developing their relationship with God. While busyness afflicts both men and women, the distraction from God is more likely to afflict men. Pastors (65%) are the most likely rush from task to task and experience adverse effects in developing their relationship with God.

As a christian we are called to follow Jesus. Sometimes this will bring us in to storms and high waters.
Why not help us by always keep the wether nice and the waters calm?
Why does God do this with us?
We should not only be followers of Christ, but we are his body here on earth. We are his representative if you will. To be able to do the work of The Father for us, we must have the same quality in us as Jesus. The Holy Spirit is makeing the Christ life in us, makeing us to be like Christ. Difficult and sometime hard situations are transformeing us to get the Christ charakter, if we will let it. The way we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, will determen the result in our life: Blessings from God or a bitter heart.

Sermon Summary: The bible tells us to resist the devil. Fine, but what does that actually mean? Some Christians erroneously think that determination and will power will suffice. Others shout at the devil, but with predictably discouraging results. Still others invoke “formulas” that they know in their heads but don’t truly believe in their hearts. To gain the ability to resist the devil successfully will require much of you, but the results will be dramatic!
Can God use me, in spite of all my mistakes?
I know that I have done a lot of things over the years, that not always have been wise to do. But I have always had a heart to serve God. The problem for me have been that there were nobody that guided me, or nobody I could ask ALL the questions that came to my mind.
The Holy Spirit has thought me ONE important thing!
May be God has allowed me to do all this mistakes, so I could be able to help others, and teach others, or there was something in my character that God wanted to change. Whatever the reason, The Holy Spirit has thought me ONE important thing. This ONE thing is what have kept me close to God over all this years, whatever situation I have got my self in to.
And many times, a long time after the problems ended, I have discovered blessings that God has given me because of the problems and mistakes. But you know, it has not been easy to see the blessings, when I have been in the middle of it all.James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Because we can easy get ourself in to negative situations when we TRY to serve God, without understanding how The Holy Spirit works in our life. And when we do make mistakes, God is always there to help us out of the situation again, even though it may take some time.
You will find This ONE thing in... (Yes please read on, because this WILL help your ministry!)

What It Means to Be Full of the Holy Ghost
Written by Smith WigglesworthBorn in 1859 into poverty, Smith Wigglesworth was converted by the Methodists at eight years of age. Even then, he was hungry for God and hungry for souls.
Smith Wigglesworth was without doubt one of the most anointed men of God that has lived in recent times. He was known as the Apostle of Faith, and if anyone deserved to be described as "full of faith and of the Holy Ghost", it was him.
He lived and walked continually in the presence of God. And the miracles that accompanied his ministry were of the sort that have seldom been seen since the days of the apostles. People born blind and deaf, cripples - twisted and deformed by disease, others on death's door with cancer or sickness of every kind,- all were healed by the mighty power of God. Even the dead were raised.
Bible Reading Acts 6
In the days when the number of disciples began to be multiplied there developed a situation which caused the twelve to make a definite decision not to occupy themselves with serving tables, but to give themselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. How important it is for all God's ministers to be continually in prayer, and constantly feeding on the Scriptures of Truth. I often offer a reward to anyone who can catch me anywhere without my Bible or my Testament.
None of you can be strong in God unless you are diligently and constantly hearkening to what God has to say to you through His Word.
You cannot know the power and the nature of God unless you partake of His inbreathed Word.
Read it at morn and at night, and at every opportunity you get. After every meal, instead of indulging in unprofitable conversation round the table, read a chapter from the Word and then have a season of prayer. I endeavor to make a point of doing this no matter where or with whom I am staying.
Things Every Minister Needs to Understand About People
Written by UnknownKnowing what people need and want is the key to understanding them. And if you can understand them, you can influence them and impact their lives in a positive way.
Listed are five things about understanding people:
Everybody Wants to Be Somebody
There isn't a person in the world who doesn't have the desire to be someone, to have significance. Even the least ambitious and unassuming person wants to be regarded highly by others. Once that piece of information becomes a part of your everyday thinking, you'll gain incredible insight into why people do the things they do. And if you treat every person you meet as if he or she was the most important person in the world, you'll communicate that he or she is somebody - to you.

DEAR DR. GRAHAM: I have friends who say I need Jesus in order to be happy, but I'm happy the way I am. Why should I bother with God? He'd probably just make me stop some of the things I enjoy doing. -- M.T.
DEAR M.T: Although you may not have thought of it this way, I hope you'll be grateful you have friends who care about you this much. They see a side of life you don't see, and they want you to share in it.
Let me suggest three reasons why you need God. First, only Christ can give true meaning to your life. From what you say, you are living for one thing right now: to have a good time. For a while, that may seem to satisfy; the Bible says we sometimes may "enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time" (Hebrews 11:25). But don't be deceived. Eventually, you will get bored, or unable to enjoy them -- and what then? God put you here for a reason, and life's greatest joy comes from knowing His plan for our lives.
You also need Christ to help you every day. How else will you meet life's disappointments and heartaches? How else will you know which way to go when you have decisions to make? Where else will you go to find the inner strength to change your life and do what is right?
Finally, you need Christ for eternity. Someday we will all die and face God -- and you are not prepared. But God loves you, and Christ died on the cross to take away your sins. Don't turn your back on Him, but by a simple prayer of faith confess your sins and ask Him into your life. Jesus' words are true: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
