Work Backwards

Here's the tip in an nutshell: work backwards.

The idea is to take a chronological story, and then in the class time or group discussion work through it
*backwards*.

Let's take the example of the story of David vs. Goliath.

Why write articles/ sermons

I am planing to bring you as our member, with your photo among the featured authors at our website. What you need to do to get there, is quite simple. Just write a few articles, like 4 - 5, and your photo will be there.

Why is that important?
people_on_the_move.jpg When your photo is among the featured authors, your ministry will be more noticed by more people. Consider this: You don`t need many persons that supports your vision, for it to be a reality. You may only need one person that believes in your vision, to finance it. The point is 1) Your ministry is noticed by this one person. 2) That person have the funds to support your vision.

How can I find this person?
The best known way for marketing through the Internet today, is by writing articles. I see that every day. Where do ex. Dr. John C. Maxwell or other known authors and preachers, get the huge audience from? By writing a lHot of articles and books. (e didn`t start with the books I suppose)

This is proven to be the best way to promote your Christian ministry through the Internet. You may use three to four hours to write a good article, but after you have done one article, many people will read it, for years to come.

The Qualities of Those Who Judge

The Situation

pastor_gerry.jpg Israel had just defeated Amalek by the hand of God – Joshua had battled while Moses held his hands high in supplication to the Lord (Ex 17:8-13). After this Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law came with the man of God’s sons and his wife and met him where he was camped in the wilderness at the foot of the mountain of God (Ex 18:5). Moses bowed down before his father-in-law and kissed him and according to custom, they enquired of each other’s welfare before they entered the tent (Ex 18:7).

It was in that tent that Moses related to his father-in-law all that the Lord had done: The plagues of Egypt – The defeat Pharaoh for Israel’s sake and God’s deliverance from the hardships of the wilderness – this caused Jethro to rejoice for the Lord’s goodness – this was Jethro’s response…

About Alexander Maclaren

Alexander Maclaren (1826-1910) — was one of Great Britain's most notable and famous preachers.

While he was pastor of the Union Chapel, Manchester (1858-1903), he was known as "the prince of expository preachers." He seldom participated in denominational or civic affairs, but invested his time studying the Word and shared its truths with others in sermons that are still models of effective expository preaching. Maclaren published a number of books of sermons and he climaxed his ministry by publishing his monumental Expositions of Holy Scripture.

10 - God Does Not Want Your Training

You find all of Dr. Webber teaching under the menu "Leadership".

Jesus formed His leaders personally. He called them first to be “with Him.”

webber.jpgHe appointed twelve - designating them apostles - that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. {bible}Mark 3:14-15{/bible}

Leaders build leaders, and Jesus took personal responsibility for each of the leaders He built. He did not delegate this to a “leadership development department” within His ministry.
